KHArchitects are delighted to have been commissioned by Regina Mundi College for their new extension at Endsleigh, Douglas Road, Cork. We are looking forward to working with the Board of Management to provide new learning spaces at their school.
Clerihan Community Playground is now in the final stages of construction. It has been fitted out with a multitude of natural features and play equipment and represents one of the most accomplished children’s playgrounds in the county. Development of the playground was carried out in conjunction with Creative Play Solutions and forma part of the overall Masterplan for Clerihan Community Park which has been implemented since 2006.
We are pleased to announce that our second extension, in as many years, for CBS Mitchelstown is now practically complete and open for use by the school. This phase comprises a single-storey 3 Classroom extension with Resource and Retreat rooms. We wish them the best for the future and thank them for commissioning us for their project. Main Contractor for this project was John Curran & Sons Construction Ltd.

Proposals for the complete refurbishment of the Society’s premises at Mulcahy House – a substantial Protected Structure on Anglesea Street, Clonmel – were presented this week to the Area Council for approval. The proposals will now proceed to National Executive as part of a funding application for the proposed refurbishment.

Great to hear that South Tipperary Co. Council have begun the process of Taking in Charge the towpath between Clonmel and Carrick on Suir, to safeguard its future as an important amenity for the citizens of South Tipperary. Allied to the Re-generation of Denis Burke Park which we are currently working on with Clonmel Borough Council, the Towpath would help to create an extended riverfront amenity. Read more…
